Great rod for the price, bite detection is great, when my greys pz is nodding in the swell or wind this rod is still until something comes along

great rod for a beginner, casts for ever, very strong if you get snagged

The AFAW six and bait are probably the best rod available in there price range. They perform as well as some higher priced top end sea fishing rods. I have cast the 12 and 13 foot versions well over 200yds. They are a superb rod. Well worth a look at if your on a budget.

the only problem i found with my 6 and bait was the original rings, they were quite cheap and fragile.

this was sorted by changing them for fuji's. spot on now.

Some advice please guys?

I need to change my original rings on my Anyfish Anywhere bait and 6 13ft multiplier rod. Really dissapointed with the quality of them. The rod is just 12 months old - 6 need replacing. Any ideas who could do a good job for me at a reasonable price? fuji's would be the ideal replacements if its possible.

He has built a few blanks for me and he does a top job.

Yes agree with all that's been said, not had any problems with the rings, yet... Only thing, I cannot use coasters, (Gammy Hands), so an Abu Grip Lock, was to be used, but it took 2 sleeves of "Heatshrink"- the stuff with diamond pattern on it- bit of messing around to get it right, but now well chuffed with it. I've had a 6 'n bait for 2 years. Great rod when there's a bit of a swell but the original rings aren't the greatest... replaced 4 this year!
