Moreton Angling Centre, I'm sure they will have something to suit and you'll get a good deal.

If you have got 250 to spend mate you can do a lot better than a Greys Triplex. Have a look at the Anyfish Anywhere range, superb rods and very competively priced.the one eyed fishereman wrote:thanks what do people think of the greys triplex rod? any other suggestions

Not to sure on the Greys Triplex. To long for the local stuff. Also the the tip is not stiff enough on a good run.
In my opinion, fishing the Mersey is not like fishing a calm beach.
Basically, you are fishing over rough ground. ( that doesn't mean Jagged rocks and a snaggy ground). The tide pull has the same effect.
Get something up to 8oz casting capability. Good for the tide run and holding bottom.
Don't like the anyfish/anywhere, Yeh! Might use use them for Tarpon of the Azours
Like is says, Anyfish/anywhere, sounds great to anyone who thinks this is a multi purpose rod.
Personally I do like the Greys, Especially the Apollo Mk2 for the Mersey.
And am now thinking about the Mk3 6oz for using in Wales with much less of a run. Might even help me achieve my 80yrd goal.

Sea fishermen are born honest. But they soon get over it.
