After a couple of missed chub bites,it was eeeeeel city
Could`nt get past them for a couple of hours....at least they were a good size
even Jay was getting them on his barbel gear 
Finally managed to snare a decent chub of a couple of pounds
Jay missed a couple of good knocks,but managed to snare a nice barbel of 4-8-0
Jay`s mate came down after work,around 5.30pm and had 3 barbel and a near 6lb chub in 4 casts
....his swim had much faster water,which obviously made the difference...he had another of 6-8-0 before i left at 8pm...Jay had moved to the next peg for the last hour so maybe he got lucky......big thanks again to Jay for showing me the ropes,and to his mate for a couple of bait tips....can`t wait to get back down there
