Firstly sorry for the delay had been very busy then came down with COVID so now back in the land of the living here goes.
We all met up nice and early at the puffin café carpark it was a beautiful morning with very little wind sunshine and flat calm conditions so we all made are way to the beach and we had a draw for walking off soon we were at our chosen spots and All in was called but the fishing was slow then after about 45 minutes the first fish was landed a lovely 57 cm bass for Rob turner the John Waugh had a smaller one soon after things were looking up. Unfortunately it wasn't to be it looked like the weather was nice for us but not for the fishing as it was very quiet on the flood Andrew Hunt managed a small 30 cm bass and further up the beach John Waugh managed to snare another scoolie then Rob turner managed another but that was it so back to the carpark to work out the scores. It didn't take long to check the cards with only 3 anglers carding fish so the winner on the day was Rob turner who managed 2 bass for a total of 94 cm.
2nd was John Waugh with 2 bass for 61 cm 3rd was Andrew hunt with a bass of 30 cm winner of biggest fish went to Rob turner with his 57cm bass and the pool for biggest flat was not won so will be rolled over to the next match at Talacre. well done to the winners on a very pleasant but tough day look forward to seeing you all at talacre
