Itching to stand on sand so thinking of heading down to Tyn Tywyn on Monday - low at 16:30 so I thought I'd get down there a couple of hours before low and stay to high or thereabouts. Current forecast giving circa 10 knots westerly and a decent sized tide so looks good.

Anyone know if owt is being caught round that side?

Cheers
Andy

Thanks Steve,

I keep a lazy eye on all the relevant forums on Facebook, doesn’t seem to be much happening on Anglesey to get excited about really. Thornies, eels and Huss off the rocks but that’s a craft I’m yet to tackle!

Anyhow, what seemed to be a minor rattle on the big car/fishing bus has scuppered this one. Mechanic today said he wouldn’t recommend any long journeys until it’s been stripped and properly diagnosed, after Easter til it gets sorted so the rods will be in the garage a little longer.

Cheers
Andy

Andy it,s a while since I,ve fished there but I do remember it can be really weedy if theres been any surf the beach as you first get on there from the carpark is the worst, if it,s bad move to the right beyond the next lot of rocks and it should,nt be too bad , bass will show up in a good surf also at this time there might still be the odd coalie about , if it,s not so rough then it will be dog city after dark with flounder and the chance of plaice in daylight
