Stan you looking in taskers / they have loads of that make of rod ??? just like Aiko's
Never seen one

Only thing I can say is buying a rod or reel for me is a VERY PERSONAL THING ???? It's what suite you and your casting ability ????
If I was you I would see if I could use someone else's rod and see if you like and can cast it more importantly ? save you wasting your money,
I have made quite a few bad buy's over my fishing career by looking and reading about something without trying it first or actually seeing it .

Everyone seem to be buying/going for the conti style rod's ? I myself have the Sonik HT Gravity and use it quite a bit ???
BUT IT DOSE have it's problems not with the rod more the conditions I use it in / dose not fish well in strong wind / large swell / or if the water has weed or carp in it .
Blank itself has a lot of power / casting/coping with larger fish
I have used it on the Mersey beaches

But if you are fishing the likes of Liverpool prom venues am not sure as I never do that sort of fishing so have no clue
But like you say a lot of cheap or unpopular brands can be better fishing rods than the expensive one's.

I had a Yuki Q7 a few years back.Bought it off an England team member.It was a fantastic rod.I sold it to a Wirral angler to finance another rod off the England team member.I watched a forum member cast a 10 oz weight with one of the cheapest yukis in the range.He later took a 30lb plus Tope off the rocks down in North Wales.They are top rods.
