Vale Park
So if anyone is interested I will be fishing Vale Park from 3 hour's before low water this Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday evening's ? Because it will offer more shelter from the s/w wind than perch rock.
Target fish will be thornback ray's for me ? But anything could turn up .

It's just pleasure fishing .

Good job you dident all rush down the fishing was dead
Tom Murphy came down and he had same result ?
So it's either a change of plan or just wait till the weekend and go Anglesey.

Worth a try though and thanks for the report. Not sure but it seems that there are few less Thornies about in the river this year, I keep an eye on the local facebook groups which are usually flooded with reports from Perch, Brunswick and Mariners at this time, but there seems to be a dearth this year, which suggest lots of blanks to me.

Anglesey sounds a good plan. I've been reading all the old reports and info on Cymyran Bay/Beach and will be giving that a shot next month.

Just seen this, bad luck Brian.. i knew fate was against me LOL... I m working lates mon, tues, weds off thurs, fri and 8 till 18 sat sun.. ha ha unreal.

Andy you are welcome to join me or ask me for information on things ?
I have the intention of going every weekend for the next 2 months as you can fish all size tides and conditions at different spots .

Thanks Brian that is appreciated. I had pencilled in the evening low tides of either 2nd/3rd October at Cymyran, with a loose plan to stay on until high water - fits with what I have gleaned from the reports and family commitments - who knows if the weather will be amenable but it's good to start somewhere with a plan! I don't often go for long treks at weekends, however it would be great to benefvit from your experience so please do keep me posted on your plans
