Rock channel

Hi lads, im going for a session on the rock channel on 7th July. I'm not a big caster, I usually get my rig out about 60/70 yards. Will that put me on a good chance of catching a hound ? Or do I need to wade out.

Paul you never know where the smooth hounds are feeding ? / close in / far out .
Same thing with how far do I walk up the sandbank all the way / half way or fish just behind the T-Groyne ???

I have had smooth hounds from all of them low water options { I don't do prom fishing }
So you just have to pick your day and spot and see what happens.

BUT LIKE Mr Steve Duffy keeps saying / you have multiple choices now days with the likes of.
LOW WATER VENUES
Rock Channel
Morrisons
Perch Rock
Vale Park

HIGH WATER VENUES
Vale Park
Guinea Gap
Water fall
Seacombe ferry
Wood side

So you have the venues you can pick the one's that will suit you best ? HIGH water venues less need for distance casting.
