Round 3 Result Vale Park Nov` 20th

[Big Kev]

15 anglers made their way out on to the bank,30 mins later than planned due to the size of the tide,so we fished from 12.15pm til 4.15pm. We hoped for dogs early on and expected a few rays out during the day,but the fishing was pretty grim with very small whiting getting on the baits,no matter how large they were.Dale Edwards was the front runner taking a 28cm whiting,which was only bettered by himself later on with a 29cm specimen,which coupled with a 27cm dab was enough for the win.As ever the flatfish proved to be very difficult to come by with only 4 of us managing to find one,with the best,a plaice of 27cm ,being taken by the in form Jimmy Redfern...myself and Dyl were the others to snare dabs. A frustrating day with so many small whiting,but at least it was wide open until the last cast.

Great report as usual thanks kev . Was another great Day fishing was frustrating weather was a bit grim at times but good company and was great to see Steve and the dog hopefully see him fishing at the town hall match
