League Insurance

Sadly the issue of insurance means i will not be running the league...in the past we were members of the Welsh Fed` which covered us,and then between Chris Douglas and BLAS we were again covered,but as nothing is now in place i am not prepared to become liable for any injuries/damage e.t.c as the organiser.

This is very sad news but I have a solution I can arrange insurance through the angling trust which would cover us for UpTo 50 people for £153 per year.
I would be happy to sort it out and maybe we could have a charge of £1 per angler per match which should cover the cost over the duration of the league or just a one off payment from everyone registered for the league. Eg if 26 registered each person to pay £6 to enter which would cover the cost what are your thoughts on this

Sound if you don`t mind sorting it Mark...i would be in favour of a £1 donation from each angler in each match,so instead of £1 being put in to a pool for the top 3 in the league,it would go towards the insurance,making it £6 for your entry plus £1 optional pool and £1 insurance,so still the £8 total entry as has been the case in recent years.

I will sort it tomorrow and the insurance policy will comence on the 30th of October and will run for 12 months so will cover winter and summer. I will post tomorrow once everything is confirmed with insurance company
