Longest Fish Pool………….Mark Davies - Smooth Hound 86cm
This years Summer League came to a conclusion at Guinea Gap up and over High water with a one flat/one round match.
It was still tight at the top of the leaderboard with 4 people still in with a shot of taking the title.
There have still been a few Hounds about in the river and Mark Davies was the only person who could find one on the day and at 86cm was a good fish and more than enough to give him the longest fish pool……..

In this format it is all about finding a combo and Dave Radcliffe did so with a 34cm Plaice coupled with a 33cm Codling and he along with Mark Davies with a 24cm Dab were the only anglers on the day to put two fish on their cards.
Richie Fisher took a Dab and Flounder double shot with the Flounder going 33cm…………..

Whilst Dylan Kensall took a lovely marked Plaice of 31cm………..

Mark’s Hound plus Dab was more than enough for him to take the win on the day from Dave Radcliffe in second and Roy Schofield in third place.
Overall that meant that this years overall standings finished with Gary Swift taking 3rd place, Roy Schofield taking 2nd place and this years winner, fishing consistently well throughout the league is Dave Radcliffe…………

Thank you to Dave and Dave for again stepping up to run the matches on the day and to also provide the bait and thank you to all anglers who have turned out to fish the league this Summer.
