Round 8 saw a pretty scratchy affair at Perch Rock however there were still some decent fish to be seen just not in any decent numbers.

Dave Roberts and Roy Schofield got off to what seemed like a flying start, Dave taking two Gurnard and a Hound whilst Roy banked a Plaice, a Gurnard and a Hound in the first hour however this was the exception to the rule with the vast majority struggling……..



Richie Fisher only managed the one fish throughout the match but it was the biggest fish with this Hound of 83cm enough to take the longest fish pool………….



Fast forward to the last hour and the tables turned with a few lads seeing all their action late on and it would prove to be decisive. Dave Radcliffe took two Hounds to get himself ahead of Roy Schofield on the leaderboard however Dale Edwards then bettered that again with two Hounds and a Tope pup to take the win on last knockings………..

I took the doglet down for a walk.She gave out advice freely and told them where they were going wrong. The results speak for themselves.Well done to all that took part.

ha cheers mark just having a purple patch be back to mr inconsistent again shortly .it was a close run match really 1 smoothound either way .
