Pumping lug Sat 28th...Hoylake (Now Sun 29th)

Good chance to get some quality linfords in the freezer for the winter...with low water at 6pm i`ll be walking out from Hoylake lifeboat station at 4.30pm,if anyone wants to join me,experienced or new to the game....waders are best and it is a good 20 min walk out....could also pick up a few razors too. ....obviously weather dependant,so i`ll post to confirm on the friday.

kev I take it you pump out by the wreck / if you are walking out from the life boat station?

I have had a few people asking when I am going out next. / so if you don't mind kev I will put my self forward and come out with you too see if I can help others that want to learn how to get their own black lug ? while you collect your stock
I will not be pumping for worms my self as I have enough already.
but I will bring a strong light to make things a bit more easy too see till it gets light.

if you are interested in this then please post your intention of coming along / you never know if quite a few are interested some of the other local experienced black pumpers might just put them selves forward as well?

I will also bring some silicone washers for anyone that has not upgraded their pump.

BUT PLEASE DON'T DO WHAT HAS HAPPEND BEFORE WHEN KEV AND STEVE HAVE ARGNGED THIS TYPE OF THING AND NO ONE TURNS UP?
because I personally wouldn't offer again if that happened?

as I don't need to go for worm I am just adding my time to see if I can help others.

I'll be there... been trying to pump worms for at least 12 months... so got an idea but never been massively successful ..thanks both for setting this up

that s ok Sean am no expert either ? I would just like to help others if I can as I started the same way?
I had to transition from using a grafter spade to the large bore pump when they first came out struggled on most occasions when I tried.
then I was taken out with a more experienced person who showed me the ropes never looked back since then and making the step up from the large bore to the slim line was quite straight forward.

this is another part of fishing I love doing helping and exchanging information with others.

watching videos makes it look so simple ? but it s never that simple ? the ground can change very quick some worms deep others shallow / a lot of casts can be old and a waist of time trying over them and so on and so on
