Black lug this week

Hi all,

Just got back from offshore to be greeted with a foul smelling shed!

The freezer had tripped while I was away and all my peeler, lug and 60 trout were rotten!

Was hopping to be out fishing this week but now need some bait, will blacks be pumpable anywhere on these tides this weekend?

Thanks

Dan

The tides are too small locally for blacklug but fresh blowlug will be available everywhere.

PS Where did you pump all those trout

I know I was gutted! All my bait I prepared for the winter gone!

I fished an any method day at a fly fishery about 2 months ago and nailed over 80 trout, spent hours and hours filleting, deboning and vacuum sealing them!

Hopefully I'll be able to get out when the tides are bigger and get some worm back in there.

Gutted for you woody, I know how much time and effort goes into planning, collecting bait, and preparing it for the freezer, don't know where you are but I'm in the croxteth area, you can have 4 packs of frozen free of charge if you want

Geddo,

That's a really nice offer mate, thanks very much. looking at these winds I won't be fishing for a few days so hopefully I'll be able to get out around the 11th and get a few hundred back in the freezer.
