Match report: 3rd Round of NWSAC Personal Members Championship, Sat 19.4.14, Caldy, Wirral (24 rods).

On a rising tide on the Dee Estuary there were good catches of flounders to 45 cms with a few eels with most fish coming from the top of the tide when anglers were on the rocky sea defences. Winner and reigning champion, Bill Lindfield landed seventeen fish from Zone B, mainly at range to crab tipped with mackerel to consolidate his series lead.
Joe McCarthy's Zone A win gave him the runner up spot.
It was a good day for the Lindfields; Heather’s third place means that she and Bill now lead the Pairs championship.
