greys early beach casters

hi lads be gentle with me i am new to the site ,i have 2 old beachcasters ,not used them for a few years now ,1 is the original mk1 appllo a great rod the other is a mercury both greys i cant find anything at all about the mercury ,? any info on it please , cheers pete

I have the Greys Mercury. This is one great rod for heavy work on the beach and rocks. I also have a Century Tip Tornado Sport and the Greys is every bit as good. If I was honest, I think I prefer it.

Mike Thrussel did a road test and if I remember correctly it out-performed his Zzippys :o

If you're selling it, I'll tell you it's carp and give you £30 for it :lol: :lol: It was about £300 when new. ;)

thanks lads i have used them with good catches especially cod & congers off whitby & anglesey . pity to leave them unused i must get out more lol
