went to eccleston today only to find the river completely frozen over , so went upstream to sutton green where it is a lot quicker moving and found there was only ice here and there , so we tried a few deadbaits but only had 1 unsuccsesful take each to me and john , we also tried a few lures and the highlight of the day was when I hooked a salmon which I played for all of 20 seconds before losing it , shame coz it was a big un ,
