I'm after a new rod I use a 5oz ,pendulum style on all different types of ground. I'm finding my old strike force and Penn power stick to soft any ideas welcome

What eyes would you go for?

The eyes are not that bad, just fragile. If you drop it on a hard surface they will chip.

The fuji bnmag (?) are good... the ones with the green shock ring.

the fisherman on laird street (wirral) will do a complete re-ring for a bit more than you'll buy the rings. I know a few who have had theirs done there. Guy gets very good comments on his work and finish.
