Brewery Lane Melling

Postby Aid » Sat Aug 14, 2010 8:21 pm

Well I've not been Tench fishing for years but had an idea it might be nice to try for one again so off to the Leeds Liverpool to give it a go. The LDAA web site is a mine of information well worth a look if you're planning a trip to their sections of the canal. Decided on Brewery Lane as it seemed to be a bit of a hot spot in the matches and armed with a couple of sliced whites set up a lift bite float rig, and managed these two :D :

Made a nice change from the heavy sea gear, and good to see the tench have made a come back on what when I was a kid was a great tench water.
