You appear to already have your eye on a fladen power stick! A good choice may i add, if you shop about on the internet you may be able to find a good combo deal including a reel, line, noddy bells and a set of mackie feathers plus a lead! Then head down to the nearest prom or breakwater and away you go, not a care in the world, be sure not to take any shockleader cos this would take the fun out of it as mackie bashing would no longer be dangerous or reckless. Dont forget to use the bell just incase you cant feel 5 fish smash into the feathers.... Once youve filled your bucket, wellies and boot with copious amounts of mackerel you can then go and target dogfish.

A 3 hook flapper with 6/0 hooks will be upto the job the ones you get off ebay 10 rigs for a quid of somthing, bait can be a big chunk of mackerel and dont use bait elastic as this will impare the presentation of the bait

I may not know loads about sea fishing apart from the rig and bait side but i am not a tard
