i am currently using a any-fish match and a 50/50 zziplex. i am selling the 50/50 to buy another rod, looking for something abit lighter than the match any suggestions, cheers, Andy

Can you be a bit more specific?

Where would you use, what type of fishing would you use it for, do you have a budget in mind, etc, etc ???

im after something a bit longer(14'or bigger) and a bit more sensetive on the tip,but still with a bit of power in the mid section,i'am selling my 50/50 so what ever that goes for is my budget(would prefer buying second hand than new)give or take a few quid

Not too sure what your zippy would fetch but if you could stretch to just under £200 then I can't speak more highly of the new century ultra lite, although it is just under 14'. I did comparisons with a few others before I bought it, latest conflex flattie fanatic, zippy bass, grey bze and platinum bass but found this rod much more suited to my needs.

I got mine as a 3~4oz flatty / scratching tool to mainly work alongside a match rod but soon realised it to be an extremely versatile and surprisingly powerful lightweight beach caster. Probably most comfortable up to 4oz + bait but more than capable of chucking 5oz or even 6oz if you keep it nice and smooth. It will send bait out to the horizon and refuses to fold in very strong current but still has bags of finesse, bite detection is quite incredible. I find myself using this now far more than any of my other rods.

The rod features all the very latest autoclave carbon tech, gearbox design and bullet proof build quality. Sometimes big leaps in design and technology like this can yield better value than second hand.

i'll also say the century ultra lite is a brill rod. if thats the type of gear ya after sell the 50/50 an pay the difference or what ever. u wont b dissapointed
