Was going to head north today but major road works on the M6 changed our plans
Air temp 12 deg biometric 1015 Sunny water level 570 ish' running clear
Studied the water for a bit and decided to leave the salmon gear in the car
Fished Corwen waters.....heavy Bugs and Dry caught 15 decent fish the best 40cms one brown trout
Plus loads of grayling fry and brown trout parr (40 plus) as well but they don't count......Enjoyed the day
My fishing buddy Grey duster had a pretty good session he lost a 2lbs plus fish which lead him a merry dance in fast water
he also had quite a few to dry fly but struggled with the bugs.
For some reason the ladies just switched off around 230pm???
We picked up the lots of parr after that but the main weight of larger fish went down. Sadly no monsters today
I switched back to bugs and couldn't persuade them to take another look......
This one fell for a dry
