just use a clip down rig (with a 5oz plain lead) with a rubber worm on it with the hook point cut off enough to clip it down then you will get the reel feel of casting a bait out

Me and my lad went to Fleetwood channel this afternoon with peeler crab and mackerel and caught my 1st fish. Was a bloody ugly thing and after looking at the fish guide it was a short spined bullhead
