I have no hope's or target's . Just as always enjoy the fishing as that's challenging enough.
I have spent the last 2 month's sorting out my fishing gear and bait storage along side constant search of information on things Reason being .
From this year on I will be changing my fishing style and fishing more local for Plaice .Thornback ray .Smooth Hound. Bass
When I do go fishing in Wales Targeting fish not available local I will make the most of it by staying over night and fishing a least 3 tides or stay for 2 day's making the most of the time. Setting out various bait trap's on one tide then go fishing and come back to the traps .

I will also change for most fishing by going back to my early year's of fishing just moving around and being mobile with the tide.
Only thing I will have is backpack soft bait bag on waist and a rod.
At 63 now am finding it hard lugging large seat box with bait bag and 2 rods and rod rest. As most venues have a good walk from the car.
I have changed my bait storage again as I will use more fresh bait's ready for any fishing sessions . I will only have a small stock of frozen peeler crab
As i am going to try and use hardback crab with more success IE mounting them live and experimenting trying to get the right size? for fishing use.
All the fish I have taken home in the past when gutting them any crab the fish have eaten have never been bigger than 2" in size  ???.

I am also getting very interested in the videoing for YouTube . I have learnt a massive amount over the last 3-4 years while I have been doing them.
Especially as I am now trying to use a rear view video camera as well as the front harness Gopro during the day and night ? The night time videoing is extremely challenging with the lighting and audio problems you have to combat ? so this is a big challenge along side the fishing it's self for me now
I am really enjoying the the constant learning and challenges of producing a good interesting and watchable video both for me first and then other's
SO MY HOPE'S ARE CAN I ACHEVE WHAT I HAVE MENTIOND ABOVE.???

Cheers Brian.

YES YOU TAKE IT EASY MR JIMMY.
hope all dose go well .

I do enjoy just simple no fuss fishing and being out on a beach with great scenery nothing better for me.
As we have some very good sport fishing local and at most times the fish available are in better number's and size ? without all the travel.
Am always out fishing and any angler that just likes simple pleasure fishing would be welcome.

Cheers brian.

My targets will be mainly around north wales so
5lbs plus Bass
Gilt-head bream (north wales)
Spur Dog
Huss over 10lbs
Talacre Tope (any size)
Cod over 3lbs (probably Seaforth)
3lbs plus Mullet
Better my TB Ray pb
Safely say the years NOT going as planed  and the years slipping away.
I’ve not targeted a Talacre Tope. Not been after the Mullet in fact I need to pull my socks up and sort me fishing out!!

Dyl . it would seem your not on your own with this one . From what am looking at this site and You Tube is very slow with a lot of people either not fishing or not posting reports or doing videos. I don't know if its just one of them periods or people have given up / lost interest in fishing reports.

Which is a shame as it helps a lot of anglers looking and reading things.
I just consider myself lucky in the way I never change and just go and do the same type of fishing at the same places each year and still enjoy it.

Cheers Brian.

If I can just get out fishing a few times I will be happy but a month in France and van trouble for six weeks has had me locked down trying to fix an intermittent fault. :(
The garage wont touch it as its air getting into the fuel line and they just wanted to send me off to a fuel specialist miles away.
However I am slowly getting to the bottom of it but any suggestions gratefully recieved :D

Good luck with your lists boys but you are better placed than some of us living in the big smoke here in stockport.

Looking forward to the winter league with all the guys again.
