Rod identification help needed.

wando and shacky you're right about it being a graphite coil as I put the rod on world sea fishing and it was reckoned to be one, but one of the posters on world sea fishing thought that it may have been part of the moonraker range and this is why I probably thought it could have been a moonraker

Cheers for that....still confused though cos it does have an alloy butt,but its definately not a stiff rod in anyway in the tip and mid like somebody on there suggested...in fact its a rather light rod....probably best as a cane,but i like daiwa rods,i have a tdpk and hpbm so i think ill keep it...

PS Just found this on a google search.....it seems everyone could be right ............When i first started beach fishing i bought a Daiwa graphite coil moonraker rod, cost me about £50 back then, it had a very through action, it was a lovely rod to cast with, I soon learnt to lock it using an off the ground cast and the result was very impressive.After a few years i had to replace it with a pair of team daiwa rods due to the ali butt on the moonraker bending!, even though these rods are not hugely powerful i still had to learn a half pendulem type cast to compress and lock these rods, this was a natural progression from

its a diawa moonraker i used to own 1 it was quite good however bite indication if i remember wasnt very good
