This weekend

If things hold up i will be going up the Island for the weekend and possibly staying on till Monday afternoon .
First thing will be the moving of my crab traps to another location away from the area they are in now as things are getting complicated.

Not sure where I will be fishing yet ? will see when I get up there ? but I will target mullet and the bigger bass rather than the small school bass on the beaches .

I will also spend sometime during the day fishing for mackerel and launce / Plus set out my prawn trap over night hoping for a good catch and take them home and freeze them down for bait later on in the year for the likes of small eye .

If you see nothing further on this matter I either never got to go or it was a load of carp

Tried quite a few times earlier to get this up

So result was did 3 low water tides digging up / emptying out / and moving my crab traps all 120 of them so everything that could ache was aching
Also dug some king rag worm just to add too the pain or pleasurer which ever way you look at it .


the water was quite lumpy and a lot of activity on it so finding any sign of feeding mullet was going to be hard work and the thought of lure fishing for a couple of hours with the aching arms was not my idea of fun.
So I decided having achieved what I wanted was done / which was get my crab traps moved and ready for the 2 moult of the year.
I would leave the fishing till a later date .

I am now ready for the Autumn bass and small eyed fishing with fresh peeler .
