WSF Winter League 2019 - Questions

A competitive yet informal set of matches in and around the Mersey. With only 2 fish to count,it`s a good way to get in to match angling.

WSF Winter League 2019 - Questions

Post by Adam Roper »

The fixtures have now been published and the rules have been updated. After considering all points made I have decided on the two following changes to this years Winter League;

Firstly, we will be dropping the minimum size limit to 20cm. This gives much more chance of recording a flat and a round combination as a lot of the Flats caught last year were between 20-25cm.

Secondly, for the two Otterspool matches only, anglers can record two different species of fish rather than a Flat and a Round. EG a Codling and a Whiting. This gives a more realistic chance of people recording two fish at these two matches. All 6 other matches will remain as Flat and a Round.

All of the above is reflected in the updated rules.

If anyone has any other questions please post below.

Newbie question... do we measure and record all fish we catch and just submit the best 2 (flat and round) or once you get a fish measured that's it.... even if you catch a better one?

It’s your best flat and round Sean so you measure every fish and update your sheet if/when you get a better one. Have a look at the section on scorecard completion, that explains it all :thumbsup:
