permits and licences

i have not course fished for at least 15 years, and my daughter wants to go so does the season run all the way through the year or is it the same and run from june till march. do you still need a rod licence and will my daughter need one as she is eleven and whats the cost

and were do you get them from

Stu,the licence runs from June 1st til 31st March.....you need one if you`re 12 yrs or older....you need one to fish any water anywhere...even in your own garden pond
