I have just got a Shimano Torium 14 as part of a deal i done,
Has anybody got one ? are they suitable for casting? build quality looks solid
any opinions/advice would be most appreciated cheers

Think they have brake blocks so yes.

cheers spud , ive just got it out of the box again and iinstructions and scematic in the bottom of box , I see brake blocks on the picture, i shall have a cast with it on sunday

They've got brake blocks similar to an abu where you can ''click out'' up to six
blocks, a solid reel, mine have had some stick and still perform faultlessly.
