Match Report: 4th round of NWASAC Personal Members Championship, Sun 5.5.13, Greenfield, Flintshire (41 rods)


On a fine, calm evening on the Welsh side of the Dee, both the flooding tide and the fish were slow to arrive but when they did, some big plaice were landed, along with a few flounders. Worm outfished crab on many pegs. Reigning NWASAC Personal Members champion Carl Edwards stamped his authority on the match with a fine bag of plaice, including the joint heaviest fish, from Zone A.
Bill Lindfield won Zone B for runner-up position and now leads the series by a considerable margin.
