Me and Bluecat set off early to put the tent up,then dig some lug and do a bit of crabbing.Unfortunately, after 1/2 hours digging,Micks spade went bang  As we were digging for 6,we were now up against it,and the blazing sun was`nt helping either 8) i plodded on,sweating buckets for the cause, and had around 150 worms, which would just have to do.....luckily Andy East had about 50 left from his last session and gave them to Dave W,which helped a lot :D .
The crabbing was again, excellent with plenty of peelers showing....an hour routing around will give you more than enough for a few sessions 8)
After a hot hot keeeebab,me and Mick went to the Dingles pub for a pint, and to meet up with Del and Vicky :D Then we got to the beach, meeting Karl Kilbride on the way :D We started fishing around 11pm (high water 1.30am) and as there was no wind,we had no weed to contend with :D First chuck and after tightening up,my line immediately went slack  on inspection, this fella was the reason...........
Image
We thought we would be in for a really hectic night,as soon after,Mick was into one too................
Image
It turned out to be a strange session, with a flurry of bites for one or two of us,then periods of quiet  Karl,in particular was getting belting bites, but they were`nt getting hooked,or jumping ship on the way in
It was nice to meet Del and Vicky, who did`nt take long to take her first ever bass :D
Image
In the interests of harmony,Del was allowed to get in on the action too :D
Image
After 40 mins we were joined by Dave W and John :D who did`nt take long to find Billy :D
Image
After a lull,i got back into the fish :D
Image
Image
We were joined later by Sven, who only had time for a few chucks...he was too busy talking to BDF
Meanwhile at the end peg,John was getting some more nice fish :D
Image
The weather had been superb all day,but a light breeze which greeted us on the beach, gradually got stronger as the night went on,ending in a bit of a hoolie  At least we had most of the session completed before it became too uncomfortable, and everyone caught a few bass 8) It was a pretty quiet session compared to how it usually fishes, but we still managed 25 bass and 2 dogs between us :D

Can I say a huge thanks from me and Vicky to Kev for his help we were 2 hours late arriving due to some t**ser wrapping his motor up at Queensferry so I never got my bait fork wet . Thanks also for the loan of a baiting needle and instruction on what to do with it (nice pair of blow lug socks) :D :D .
Being wrecked cos I spent the day delivering down the coast and had to suffer a mong parking a caravan up some poor sods opps round about St Asaph on my way back home to pick up the kit and Vicky before driving back down the coast I was simmering nicely by the time we arrived but we chilled down muchly after a couple of cool ones in the Dingle.
Plenty of bites -Kev is spot on for tactics when the wind got up we were both finding it difficult to spot the bites (using light bass rods) that and some dummy left the sticky tape for the isotopes in the car. We enjoyed ourselves and thats what fishing is about so big thanks to the WSF Posse
:D :D :D :D :D :D thinks:-next time- not on a bank holiday weekend :D
