The eyes are not that bad, just fragile. If you drop it on a hard surface they will chip.
The fuji bnmag (?) are good... the ones with the green shock ring.

the fisherman on laird street (wirral) will do a complete re-ring for a bit more than you'll buy the rings. I know a few who have had theirs done there.
