Bradshaws no 6

Post by mark »

With the small tide today didnt think anywhere would fish...but weather was gorgeous so i thought id head to Bradshaws for first coarse session of the year.ImageFished number 6,soft 2mm feed pellet and soft hookers at 11m.Started off with a few small chub..
Image
Followed by some cracking hybrids and a few skimmers..
Image
Then everything locked up......carp
Image
Not a lot i could do on a 2lb bottom and small elastic other than put my pole under water and let it swim around for 15 mins....didnt expect to land it but eventually slipped net under....easy 6-7lb
:D :D
Image
Only fished for two and a half hours....cracking sesh

Love number 4....even though it does resemble a scene from the evil dead with its trees in the water and mutant carp.....if ever there existed a swamp monster...had my match record there,98lb,only came third, winner won with 158lb.Love to fish floating pole on there. No 6 is good, not as many carp but some real lumps...fish in the left hand corner as you look down from no 4.Try number 3 as well......there is a submerged wall in the middle(honestly) and you have to get carp over the wall...great fun  :D
