Just past the Ship Inn,my mate Steve was first in with this nice Jack.

This Jack had a big stab wound in its back, possibly from a heron or cormorant.Often, just as the spinner came into the bank good sized perch would appear from nowhere and attack. We did,nt get any hook ups this week though.Eventually I got into the action with this small Jack which took the lure about 2 foot out from the bank

After a few pints in The Saracens Head we walked back along the cut to the car.By this time the canal was starting to freeze over again. After a day in the cold I decided to end it with this tasty treat.

One of the nicest keeeeeeeeebabs I've had in a long time from a new shop in Irby village. All in all a great day out.Sorry some of the Pics are carp, and my photobucket does not seem to want to work properly again.
