Match Report: 1st round of N.W.A.S.A.C. Personal Members Championship 2009, Sun 25.1.09, Old Colwyn Beach, North Wales (44 rods).


Fished into darkness over low water, this curtain raiser for the 2009 series attracted a healthy entry.
As with many local venues this winter, whiting were virtually absent with rockling making up the modest catches.
Bootle’s Carl Edwards located six rockling in an area around a rock on the sea bed and took the win and an early series lead.
