Lakemore Fisheries 2/3 August

Post by chris dyer »

Hopes were high after having booked this trip weeks ago to finally catch a big cat
The lake was full of weed making the fishing very difficult, we tried but no big cats for us, here are a few pictures of the day

Relaxing

2lb Common caught on Pellet

6lb 12oz Common caught on Lob Worm

2lb 9oz Cat Fish caught on Pellet

A few bigger fish were lost because of the weed and we had about 15 very small cats all about 8 inches long

If anyone fancy's a try have a look at there website www.lakemorefisheries.co.uk

Nice fish.

Terrible English in the story though.

"South Cheshire angler Matt Yeates caught a whopping 75lb 6oz catfish on the Horseshoe Lake which was just under 6 ft long and nearly 18 inches deep."

No wonder he caught it, the way it is written it would only just fit into Horseshoe Lake which is 6 ft long and nearly 18 inches deep !!

Well you have to maintain standards, don't you know.
