A Basstastic day.

Postby Steve Duffy » Thu May 17, 2018 3:33 pm

Weather was given to be excellent so a trip to fish the drive over high was planned.Got there in plenty of time to get set up without rushing.
Image
A few people out walking their dogs headed down to the end but realised they couldn't cross but were sensible enough to turn back rather than try and walk across.
Image
Within minutes it was like this.
Image
Got my base camp set up.
Image
Using a world famous Urfe ready pyramid lead set up produced a double header of a small Plaice and Flounder to fresh pumped black lug.
Image
It remained very quiet until just before high a small bass was tempted by a small piece of fresh black lug.
Image
I did not make any bites on crab.I had visitations from a number of well known anglers including a rare visit from El Presidente, which helped pass the time.A nice few hours out with a few fish as well.
