New brighton beach plaice fishing

Postby Manchesturk » Sun Apr 29, 2018 8:56 pm

After joining the group few weeks back and looking for some advice and some ideas where to and how fish as a newbie of sea fishing i have had my first fishing session at the new brighton beach, and it was a nice successful day! Fished from low tide to high tide, got there at 7.30 ish in the morning and dug out some lugworms whilst tide was out, and started fishing from 9.30 up until high tide 12.30 ish!
First 2 hours was pretty much busy but it has died down after the flood! Over all I've caught 4 small plaices and the lad ( adam who was so helpful and friendly ) who I met there caught 2 nice size plaice and 3 small one! Over all it was a great day and weather was fine too! Will be there again next sat :) happy angling and tight lines!

Here is a little video i made, thanks for watching

Thanks

Try and hold the fish still. The fish in the vid looked more like a dab,but hard to tell as it was spinning.

Yeah, looked more like a dab to me too.
Still fun fishing though.
