Result Rules This year the rules have been simplified in order to attract more anglers to take part in the events, each match is classed as an individual open and points are awarded from 1st place to 10th place, the overall winner of the league will receive a £50.00 Moreton Angling Centre Voucher as well as the Winter Shield.
1. Entrance Fee will be £5.00 (all In).
2. Winner will be decided by heaviest bag, made up of a maximum of 2 fish, one to be round and one to flat, and angler presenting more than 2 fish will be disqualified from that match and receive no points to overall league standing.
3. Fish must be of legal size limit as set by the NFSA (Size limits will be issued on the day of each match).
4. Max 2 hooks - Pennel rigs count as 2 hooks.
5. No Bait Restrictions.
6. Only 1 rod to be used and set up at any time.
7. Organisers decision will be final and binding.
8. Rays to count as "Round Fish" these can be weighed on the beach - entrants must find an "Organiser" in order for fish to weighed, we do not encourage rays to brought to the final weigh in.
9. Competitors will not be allowed to take up positions until 30 mins before the start of the match, as all matches are rovers within the boundaries.
