gynn wall saturday night

Postby lee1317 » Mon Oct 01, 2007 5:58 pm

no fishing for me this weekend due to some bobbins job i had to do saturday  bricks did'nt turn up from builders yard  so that went tats up   then brother brendan phoned me to see if a wanted to fish 8) game on 8) first trip was to formby for some fresh linfords   forgot it was a 32ft tide   after walking 40 mile we found some lug beds  spent an hour and a half,i had about 20, bren's bucket was over flowing
we was going to fish formby for the silver bullets but decided we would be waiting ages for the tide so we shot off to blankpool to meet up with cliff 8)
after a few text's with no reply we decided to have a drive down the gynn wall to see if we could see him   talk about noddy city   it was like a bell ringers convention    ding-a-ling,dinga dinga linga    why do people cast with bells on
decided to put my foot on the gas and get the flock out of there sharpish
found a nice spot well away from the ding-a-lingers and set up
Image
bren was first in with a 2-0-8 doggie
Image
followed by a 2-5-0 thornie
Image
my rod started to rattle resulting in this 1-12-8 doggie
at the same time bren got a good knock
Image
resulting in this 1-14-0 coddo
Image
another doggie for bren 2-0-0
after a few more dogs and some yting bren got a good knock resulting in this
Image
a nice 5-0-0 thornie to top the night off 8) and win the £1 for biggest fish
cliff turned up some time during the session   he'd fell asleep and woke up to sound of bells around him     nice to meet you cliff 8) that was it for the night as the tide was ebbing away from the wall. off for a few hours kip,ta john ;) then off to fish the BLAS match, where i blanked and bren won the £1 again   good weekend had, good crack too

Nice report!
Make a difference - take home 1 piece of someone's angling litter next time you are out fishing.
