The ray hunt.........

Postby Steve Duffy » Fri Aug 31, 2007 9:33 am

Well what can I say...........not very much actually. I got up at the crack of insanity to meet my workmate Roy to have a crack at the rays at mark X at Perch Rock.A sunrise of stunning mediocrity greeted us.

Image

The wind was coming from the Northwest and was matched only in strength by that which escapes from the vents in the love caravan at Parsel. It was like the sands of the Kalahari.

Image

My mate Roy searching for 5p he dropped in the sand

Image

The first decent bite of the session

Image

This is what we came for. :D

The only ray of the session for Roy.The tide was on the turn and it became impossible to hold bottom in the first part of the flood so it was home for a bit of brekkie.
