pensarn 19.5.07

Postby moan it in mid » Sat May 19, 2007 3:34 pm

got up early today so decided to go to pensarn to give it a try :D l arrived about 3 hours before high and set myself up on the beach :D

Image

this is the view to my left

Image

and to my right

Image

as you can see its a nice place to fish the car park is right next to the venue and there is a cafe handy as well :D

as you can see from the vid the waves where breaking great :D

tried crab baits first on one rod and lug on the other but the only bait that worked for me was rag :D
had to wait about half an hour for my first fish which gave me a big slack line :D a bass, my first of the year, which weighed in at 1lb 13oz :D

Image

then about 15 mins after that a big knock and another bass/schoolie :D

Image

the small fish went back and the bigger one is my tea :D only stayed about 1 hour after high :D this is a really nice place to fish and it didn't rain which was a bonus :D can't wait to go back again
