Hi fellow fishers,

Well what a day, the sun beating down and the fishing was great!!

First stop was the bait shop and then the butty bar, Adie had a monster (bacon,sausage & egg) i had a salad with mayo (cough cough).

We where set for our days fishing now, off to lytham and a meet up with John after his hard morning off graft (more like a cash foriegner)

The venue was a walk out to the channel at the back of Fairhaven lake, and yes what a longggggggggggg walk it was. Good job we had some energy drinks (some lagers from the off-licence).

Nice sun in the sky with a gentle breeze.

Nice flounder for me

A nice doubler header for Adie, and please excuse Johns energy drink.

John with a nice fish, the first of many he must have had double figures i stopped counting after a while.

The view was great all in all what a great day from the food to the fish and oh yes the energy drinks where great as well.

This mark was a long walk but well worth it we had in excess of 20 fish between us all and a few red faces as well, the weather was fantastic.
