We met at the Fort and made our way out to the left of Brazil Buoy.....a keen breeze greeted us,but at least it was dry n fairly warm. Crab, squid, sandeels, lug, mack, mussels were hurled seaward, but nothing apart from the crabs was interested  they were even eating the bait elastic :!:
Millsy went and spoiled things by taking a dog 8)
Image
Could`nt let him take the honours so i matched him....
Image
Low water came and went, without a single offer from the usually obliging pin whiting n dabs....maybe the deluge of rain water had taken it`s toll
You have to keep fishing hard and hope the window of opportunity will open, and 20 mins after low,it opened for me...a nice ray of 5-10-0 took my squid/sandeel combo 8)
Image
That was the story from Perch Rock,so after a stop at the chippy, myself,Millsy and Muzz continued to Mariners to fish the flood....3 lads from Wrexham were already on the bull nose and fishless....a group of Pirates, including Jags, were further down by the flats and also fishless :!: we set up by the Welsh lads and by 5am we were also fishless

Must have been 20 rods out and not a sniff between us  Never mind,we had a good laugh and it was good to meet the lads again....til the next time ;)

Not a lot seems to have reported anywhere off the Mersey this weekend so you did well with the doggies and a cracking Ray :)

Im a bit unhappy with the clarity of that picture of you holding the ray, looks like it may have been photoshopped? Ive managed to look beneath the ray using my latest farmyard smell detection software and it seems you are holding a small dab...im sure your watch is usually on the right hand as well.....
I for one,am not convinced....
