after collecting our bait from M.A.C. (lug and mackrel )and going round in circles round Liscard we finally got set up for about 10:30. we setup half way down the slope on the right. Artur fished just up from me,

and Chris just down the slpoe.

Artur and chris fished one up one down rigs with size 1 hooks while i tried for something bigger with a pennal rig with size 2/0s.
Chris was first in with a dab? at about 11 o'clock

I then went for a chat with the next angler down from Chris who i found out to be Alan moan it in mid and he gave us some good tips on how to fish here. Thanks Alan.
With the tips from Alan i went back and clipped on the same rig as the other 2 and we all cut down on the size of the baits ( 1 inch length of worm and tipped of with a tiny piece of mackrel ). almost straight away Artur started catching with a pin whiting followed close by with another. By now the high tide had come and it was
Artur - 2 whiting
Chris - 1 dab
Me - fshless (this is the last tme i' taking these 2 fishing

Alan packed up and advised us that we would be better off moving down to where he had just come from, so we moved down. Again it was first cast from here and Artur had a dab of 22 cm and then another whiting. I still hadn't had anything
At about 1:30 i had at last caught my first fish, another pin whiting followed closely by a 23 cm dab which was deep hooked so Chris took home. Finaly just before packing up at 2:30 i caught my first plaice from the shore measuring 27cm (again this was deep hooked and died so again Chris took it ).

In the end it finished
Artur - 3 whiting 1 dab
Chris - 1 dab
Me - 1 whiting 1 dab 1 plaice
We all said we will try this venue again but on a night tide.
On the drive back home i was talking to the lads about coming up for a couple of matches / fish and meets shifts permiting.
Thanks again Alan for the info that you shared with us making it a better trip than t could have been, and how did you get on in the match at perch rock later.
