met up with the lads this morning bright and early 7am another glorious morning on the river mersey :D

every one was catching whiting right though the sesh oh and jeff had a decent dab :D

with about an hour to go we moved up river :D then the shout went up and jeff reeled in a nice 3lb codling :D

jeff was over the moon and telling us that we could pay him the heavest pool money by check or visa if we wanted when paul gave a shout get the net l've got something big on here :D

this was a great trip in the end lots of whiting, 1 dab and the 3 cod. another great morning out with the lads :D . shame the fish only came on in the last half hour but theres always next time :D :wink:

Nice session, but shows how bad things are when its a result to come ashore with a 3lb and a 10lb cod.
Make a difference - take home 1 piece of someone's angling litter next time you are out fishing.

Air temp still only 6 deg already plenty of fish around, this is the best start we,ve had for a few years. 8) :D

well in lads 8) pauls cod looked big on the first piccy but showed it's true size when put next to jeff's 3lber :shock: 8)

it looked bigger still when I managed to get almost the whole 3lb fish into the 10lber's mouth :shock:
