Blue Bridge, Queensferry

Postby Trishy » Sun Apr 14, 2019 8:46 am

Fished the first match of the 2019 , Sefton Sac summer league yesterday . The seaward side of theBlue Bridge was the venue and flounders were the target. Tide was a bit on the small side for here but everyone keen to start . It was very slow! There were plenty of blanks . I managed 3 flounder for 110 points on the conversion table for a respectable 2nd . Mickey Duff won it with 2 donkey flounder of 37 &42cm for140 points
Worm baits fished best with nothing on fresh crab for me
No other species caught.
Still nice to be out.

Wind was cold there yesterday , although the sun was nice , just not strong enough.
Feels very hit and miss on the fishing at the moment. Match at the infamous “Hall Road” for me next weekend!

Well done on your 2nd place Ste, I don't mind that place, nice easy fishing that normally produces, just as a matter of info, last time I went I caught all my fish at LW blanked at HW.

Thanks fellas . Never fished there over low Gaz but can’t see the flounders moving very far so it might be a captive audience in the channel that’s left. Something to think anout :?:
