eccleston 16-07-11

Postby mal wynne » Sat Jul 16, 2011 6:13 pm

with the forecast of monsoons and high winds I thought I would wimp out under me brollie for a short sesh this afternoon , so I went to eccleston and got prepared but apart from 20 minutes of rain when I got there it was a dry but blustery afternoon ,but the fishing was,nt exactly brilliant , I ended up with just a few roach to about 10 ounces a few chublets and a single small perch , I,m wishing now I,d stuck to me original plan of going lure fishing for pike , but never mind it,ll soon be next weekend when it,ll be a toss up of mullet or conger on them lovely small tides :D
