Forthcoming P.M. Matches

a. P.M. Matches

3. Sat 28.3.09, Llandudno North Shore, 7–12pm. Book on at paddling pool from 5.30pm.
Species: whiting, codling, dogfish, rockling, occasional flatfish & rays. Baits: sandeel, worms, fish baits. Ideal for shelters and brollies, waders advisable.

4. Sun 12.4.09, Caldy, 11am- 3pm. Book on in car park from 9am. Species: flounders,plaice,school bass, eels,whiting. Baits: ragworm, mackerel, lugworms, crab, razorfish. Waders recommended, O.K for shelters and brollies. Medium to long walk on sandy beach, with mud at start and anglers may be forced onto rocks at high water on many pegs.

5. Sat 23.5.09, Crosby, Hall Road, 8.30pm-12.30pm. Book on in car park nearcoastguards from 6.30pm.
Species: flounders, eels, codling, dogfish. Baits: Worms,molluscs, mackerel, crab. Short to moderate walk on sand and brick beach, O.K. for shelters.

6. Sun 7th June, Rock Channel, 4.30- 8.30pm. George Crane Memorial match. Book on near boating lake at double slip on King’s Parade, New Brighton from 2.30pm.
Species: dabs, plaice, flounders, school bass, poss. smoothhounds. Bait: crab. Medium walk on wet sand over low tide, waders advisable, unsuitable for shelters.

hope your big beach has more fish with it than caldy,
would have thought that would be cheating if you bring your own venue :badgrin:
