Match Report: 2nd Round of N.W.A.S.A.C. Personal Members Championship 2013, Sat 30.3.13, Llandudno North Shore, (20 rods).
Fish were slow to come on the feed on a calm but cold night but as the tide rose, small whiting and rockling kept the rod tips rattling on most pegs.
Joe Perry’s 24 cms (11 points) rockling in Zone B was the first fish recorded (photo) and he added nine whiting for a second consecutive win and a perfect score to lead the series. Ian Brookes won Zone A for runner-up place.
Bill Lindfield’s 23 cms dab was the only flatfish of the match; at the final whistle, he was one fish behind Joe but his third place gave him second in the championship at this early stage.
